Job Description: Assumes responsibility for standing a navigation and cargo watch. Responsible for ensuring all bridge equipment in good working order, and all necessary charts and publications are onboard and corrected through the latest N.M. Plans bridge maintenance, maintains appropriate records/logs, submits reports, assist the Master in all aspects of voyage planning, and communications. EDUCATION:High school diploma or GED LICENSES/Second Mates Unlimited with Radar Endorsement CERTIFICATES: S.T.C.W. Certificate with required endorsements including GMDSS Operator License Current Mate 1600 ton near coastal license with radar endorsement. |
