Job Description: To lead and oversee a high-performing safety program in coordination with Operations , Risk Management and Insurance. To ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety rules and regulations. To anticipate and identify health concerns and hazards. To assist operating locations with obtaining and maintaining environmental compliance certifications. To assist with interpretations of environmental protection regulations. To oversee training for accident prevention for Company staff and its divisions. To update safety materials, regulatory plans and reports. To maintain, organize, and file permanent safety records for the Safety department. To interface with various agencies with oversight of workplace safety. To establish and continuosly improve a corporate culture of safety through leadership, training, and example. To oversee security compliance and the implementation of Facility Security Plans in each marine terminal managed by the Company. |
