Job Description: •Support to Master and Chief Officer specially considering the vessel’s safety, environment protection, security, cost management and the quality of services •Bridge watch keeping / Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS) •Port watch keeping •Supervision of cargo operations •Safety Officer •Administration of documentation related to provision stores •Administration of all papers related to ship’s clearance at arriving port •Supervision and maintenance of safety equipment, lifesaving equipment, fire fighting equipment •Maintenance of safety documentation •Issuing and updating safety and emergency procedures as far as designed by the vessel •Designing and preparing of drills and exercises in close cooperation with Master •Monthly Payroll Processing for on-board pay |
